We're a Salty Crew

The Bait House has been a Clearwater Beach institution for decades.

Founded in the 1940’s by Ernest Barger, captain of the Li’l Tiger charter fishing boat, the Bait House has been providing local anglers with the freshest live bait and quality tackle for generations.

In the spring of 2009, Justin Pfaelzer and Christian Harms wanted to preserve the old Florida flavor and expand the business that sits on planks and boards in the east end of the Clearwater Marina. 

Transforming the original Bait House into a full-service restaurant in 2010 was a true labor of love. 

Ten years later, thousands of locals and visitors from all over the world have enjoyed the natural beauty of the intracoastal while dining on our patio and enjoying a cold beverage from the bar. 

Best of all, we've created a "Port of Happiness" where lifelong memories can be made.
